Thank you for your interest in attending one of our workshops. After 20 years of fly-fishing, guiding, and teaching I have experienced much of what fly-fishing has to offer ones soul.

Fly fishing is a growing activity many men, women, kids, and families are discovering. The potential within yourself to learn this wonderful outdoor sport does not have to take years, or cost you thousands of dollars. But the experience and memories this activity has to offer can be priceless.

Michael L. Bantam Fly Fishing & Casting workshops will help you to excel in the enjoyment of this wonderful recreational activity. Fly-fishing is a life sport in which ones skills are always being developed, seemingly never mastered, and always being pursued. To the beginner it can be overwhelming.

In Beginning Fly-Fishing your instructor will get you started down the right river, or up. Once you have become comfortable with, and developed the basic skills you may wish to quicken the learning curve by attending our Intermediate Fly-Fishing workshop. This workshop introduces you to actual fishing, (river) conditions. Here we continue fine tuning your casting style while developing line management, mending, and fishing techniques.

As you begin mastering these techniques you may wish to develop your casting skills to fish river conditions that seemed impossible to you with a fly rod. In the Advanced Casting Workshop we introduce Spey casting techniques enabling you to fish situations never before approached.

At this point your casting technique is all yours, individual and unique to you. With practice while enjoying what this sport has to offer I encourage you to GO FISH.
